Believers know the Way, the Truth, and the Life personally. This doesn’t give us bragging rights, but it should make us aware of to Whom we belong and strive to live in a way that points to His presence. It should give us compassion toward the lost. We’ve received undeserved mercy, and in gratitude, we should show mercy to those who doubt, who reject Jesus, and who live ungodly lives. Rather than denouncing others’ beliefs in disdain, anger, or superiority, let’s reach out with a display of compassionate mercy. Our testimony could very well lead them to the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
