Have you experienced the blessing of knowing you are walking in His footsteps? Even when the way is hard, if I know I’m where I’m meant to be—walking in obedience—I find joy and satisfaction. When we obey Him, we don’t need to look over our shoulder in concern we’ll be found out. When we obey Him, we can sleep in peace instead of worrying about retribution. Obedience leads to contentment. The God who created us knows what is best for us, and when we submit to His will, we find our best life. There’s no better place to be than in the center of His will, and we find it when we follow His decrees.
