Something a good church friend told me a few years ago has lingered with me: “When I start my day in the Bible, the whole day goes better.” I’ve experienced that truth myself. When I center the first hour of my day in His Word and in speaking with Him, it gives me a solid foundation that holds me up no matter what the rest of the day brings. His Word is laden with hope, with promises, with assurances, with wisdom. I need those things to survive! Fill yourself with HIM in the morning, and you’ll have a ready Source of comfort, peace, and discernment to carry you through the day.
