Our own testimony is the best way to reach others for Jesus. We know how He’s changed us; we know how His presence has impacted us. No one can tell me my testimony isn’t true because I’ve lived it. Although I’ve failed (my humanness does get in the way sometimes…), I’ve tried to live it in a way that Jesus’s influence is evident to others. I love hearing fellow believers’ testimonies, because it is such a joy and encouragement to know how Jesus is working in others’ hearts. When I hear someone’s personal testimony of how God brought them through a dark valley or helped them overcome a harmful habit or restored a broken relationship, it strengthens my trust and confidence in Him. Never doubt the power of your testimony. You could be someone’s delight and counsel.
