When we have the Holy Spirit bolstering us, we are never helpless victims. God’s children are assured they will have victory over their enemies. Even in the midst of suffering and hardship, God has the last word through Him who loved us, laid down His life for us, and then ROSE AGAIN. Jesus conquered death, and because of Him, we are conquerors over sin and death. Whatever happens, even if we lose our lives, we’ve won. Because we will abide with Him forever and ever and ever. We are safe in the love of Christ. That is the ultimate security.
