God loves humanity. He loves every person ever born and those who have yet to be born. He loves humanity so much He sent His only Son to the cross to take the penalty for our sin. Jesus died for humanity—for every person ever born and those who have yet to be born. But that doesn’t mean every person is automatically reconciled to God through Jesus. You see, Christ’s saving work on the cross is SUFFICIENT for every human being; but it is only EFFECTIVE for those who believe in Him. When we, in faith, receive Him, we become righteous in God’s sight, meaning we have right standing with Him. But until a person ACCEPTS the gift of salvation, he’s still lost. Forgiveness of sin and peace with God is possible for all who believe. That’s the message we as His ambassadors are commissioned to share. Let’s share the Good News until the whole world hears…Jesus saves!
