There have been many times in my life when I’ve felt compelled to pray for someone. Sometimes it’s for their salvation, other times for their strength, peace, or comfort. When you are compelled by the Spirit, it’s best to answer that call, no matter the cost. Paul’s determination to go even when he knew difficulty awaited him speaks so eloquently of his belief that ALL should hear the Gospel message. We will face opposition at times when we talk about Jesus. Many don’t want to acknowledge their need for a Savior. But whether they want to acknowledge it or not, we know that without Him all is lost. Therefore, let us be compelled to share the truth of God’s saving grace made possible by Jesus’s death and resurrection. Let us not allow fear to hold our tongues. Let us speak lovingly and boldly about the One who redeems and restores and renews.
