When I think about the messages being presented in the world today about self-love, self-improvement, self-satisfaction, self-self-self…, it makes me sad. Because people are swallowing it hook, line, and sinker (as my mom would’ve said) and still feeling incomplete. NOTHING satisfies like a relationship with Jesus who IS the Word of Life. By listening to my Father, who created me and knows me more intimately than I even know myself. Like the old hymn says, “I’d rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today.”
