The last sentence of this verse—“You are my God”—gives me the happy kind of chills. MY speaks of a personal relationship. When something belongs to us, we take care of it. It’s important to us. My relationship with my Father-God is the most important relationship I have or ever will have. I discover a place of peace and contentment when I place my full trust in Him. When I serve Him, I receive His blessings. This world is an unstable place and dangers abound, but I find my refuge in the knowledge that He is with me wherever I go. He is my God, and I am His child.
