To be declared righteous, we must turn from sin/self and turn to salvation/God. Once we have personally received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, our sins are gone. Our future is secure. And this security results in a peace that nothing of this world can offer. There is nothing in the world that lasts forever. Salvation—thanks to Jesus’s sacrifice on Calvary—is eternal. If you want peace, real peace, a peace that calms you even in the midst of life’s storm, you can find it with Jesus.
