Many of us find a “go to” when we’re sad or lonely or discouraged. For me, personally, food has been my too-often go-to, much to the detriment of my physical (and spiritual!) health. It’s a bad habit, running to the cookie jar for comfort and instead of turning to Him. Actually, using anything else to fill myself except Him is worthless. He is the only true Fulfiller and Life Giver. His ways lead to joy and satisfaction; everything else still leaves me empty. If you’re battling a “filler” that still leaves you empty, I pray you’ll turn instead to the One who wants to be your Comforter and Completer. In Him we find life.
