I am so grateful that God does not change! Everything else does, which can leave a person feeling uncertain or insecure. Knowing that He is unchangeable—that what He says stands for all time, that His promises endure for all time, that whatever He does is just and right and good—gives me a stability this world could never provide. Do I always understand what He gives? No, not always. Especially not in the moment. But after years of walking with Him, I can look back and see so much evidence of His good and perfect gifts…even on the rocky pathways. The Father of the heavenly lights will not and cannot change. He is the One on whom we can always depend.
