Whenever my mom heard about someone’s unexpected passing, she would say, “It behooves one to be ready.” There’s no doubt in my mind…she was ready when Jesus called her Home. I don’t know what day I’ll breathe my last. I don’t know if the Lord will return when I’m still alive and I’ll meet Him in the sky. But I do know that one day I will see Him face to face. I must ready my heart NOW to meet Him, not delay seeking Him, receiving Him, following Him, sharing Him. If He called me today, would I be ready?
