David couldn’t comprehend God’s great love for him; I will never be able to grasp the scope of it, either. It’s beyond human understanding. At the same time, I know in my heart of hearts that it’s always there. What we have here are two rhetorical questions. Rhetorical, meaning the answer is obvious: No where. God’s presence is everywhere! I am never without Him. The devil would like to make me think otherwise. He’d like me to feel isolated, unloved, unworthy. David knew the truth, and I do, too: God’s knowledge is so complete, so far-reaching, so limitless it encompasses everything, everywhere, every minute of every day. Are you lonely? Reach out. He’s only a whisper away. No one will ever be more available to me than God.
