Every now and then I have the privilege of leading women’s retreats. My favorite presentation includes building a “rock altar” of memories of the times God acted on our behalf. Each of those events—an answered prayer, a peace beyond description, an open…or a closed…door—are pieces of the testimony He is building in you. When we remember the times He was with us in the past, it makes it easier for us to trust Him with today and every tomorrow. It lets us fall more deeply in love with Him as we recognize how intricately He is involved in each of our lives. Have you ever sat down and listed moments of God’s hand on your life? If not, do so. You will have a testimony ready to share when someone needs assurance, which will bless them and you.
