Being a Christian means that some will view you as ignorant, as “holier-than-thou,” as weird, or any number of other negative titles. Jesus was despised and rejected, so as His followers we should expect no less. BUT we must stand firm against the attacks of the evil one (because that’s really what it is). We must remember that people who put us down or reject us aren’t rejecting us as much as the One we serve. We must continue to live His love in front of those who say God doesn’t exist or doesn’t make a difference. Regardless of what the world’s followers say and do, we must not forget Whose we are. We don’t need to try to “fit” in this world, because it’s not our home. We have something far better in store for us than anything this world can offer. So hold tight to His hand and to His hope!
