No matter how hard I try to do the right things, sometimes I mess up. I am so glad God is the kind of Father who does not swoop in with fury when I make a mistake. Instead, He uses the error to teach me to make better choices the next time. God’s greatest characteristic is love. Unending love. Unconditional love. Unexplainable love. He loves me enough to let me suffer the consequences of bad judgment, and He loves me enough to forgive me and offer a fresh start each day. People might condemn me forever for past mistakes, but in His mercy, He sees beyond the sin to the sinner and loves me where I am and through every minute it takes to find the way to where He wants me to be.
