When the storms of life are crashing down, I often turn to Psalm 91. I actually love the King James version of this Psalm. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High…” Sad to say we aren’t referencing all believers here. Some believers appreciate God’s grace and turn to Him in times of trial (I’m not questioning their salvation, but looking at their Christian maturity); others cultivate a habit, a moment by moment intention, of being in God’s presence. That’s the “one” the scripture references: those who take the time to nurture and develop a close relationship with God. Because of their diligence, they experience a different kind of blessing—the cover of His shadow. We’ll explore that tomorrow.

Hymn day: “Living for Jesus”
