When my girls were little and I reprimanded them, they would usually say, “I know, Mom.” And I would reply, “It’s not enough to know–you need to DO.” When we KNOW right from wrong, the expectation of appropriate behavior increases. Those who have repented of their sinful ways and accepted Christ’s gift of salvation are especially held to accountability. Christian, if you know it’s wrong and you willingly choose to walk that path anyway, you’re treading on dangerous ground. Please be cautious where you place your foot. Rely on the Spirit’s guidance. Don’t just “know”—”DO.” You will please your Father, and you will protect your soul.
