Jesus is the “way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). There is no middle ground here. One cannot straddle a fence when it comes to faith (although a lot of people try to do so). The simple fact is either we believe or we don’t believe; either we’re fully with Him or we’re fully against Him. It’s an individual choice as to how we respond to Jesus. Either way, we’re all in. In Revelation 3:16, Jesus says, “So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” We can’t play it both ways, expecting God to bless us while choosing to live for self. We can’t say we believe in Him but dishonor Him with our words and deeds. If we call Him Savior, then He must also be Lord. With Him or against Him? What choice do you make?
