Have you ever tried to instruct someone on a topic you know nothing about? It doesn’t work very well. Before we can share knowledge, we first have to attain it. It’s so important for us to understand God’s ways, to be familiar with His Word. Every day we encounter people who are lost. They need to hear the truth, and we can share it with them if we know it ourselves. There are so many people who say, “Oh, sure, I believe there’s a God,” but there’s a huge difference between believing there is a God and putting one’s faith in God. God’s holy Word gives us all the instruction we need. Study it. Apply it. TALK about it so others will know WHY your life is different. To coin an old phrase, Walk the walk AND talk the talk!
