God is just. He is unable to be anything but just. Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, “Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” He is long-suffering and patient. He bestows mercy when He believes mercy is the best response; He shows compassion when He believes it is needed. He knows every man’s heart and motivation; He knows whether we intend good or evil with our words and actions. We can’t fool Him, and every response we receive from Him is appropriate. Some people say a loving God won’t send anyone to hell, and they’re right. He doesn’t send us, we choose it by rejecting His Son. His mercy extends to all, but so does His justice. We will receive the eternity we’ve chosen when we reach the end of our earthly life. I’m heaven bound. What about you?
