Anxiety can really weigh us down. I wasted a lot of years in constant worry, and all that time I was essentially telling God I didn’t trust Him. Sure do regret that now. A better way to deal with concern is take it to the Lord in prayer. Tell Him what’s bothering you; ask Him to work His will in the situation; thank Him for listening and caring and always doing what’s best for you. Laying my concerns at His feet and trusting Him to work is so much better than wallowing in worry and ending up with ulcers. And notice it says in everything—the big things and the little things of life. Mom used to teasingly say if it’s big enough to worry about, it’s big enough to pray about. So take it to Jesus. You will find your solace there.
