Being raised with Christ means being saved. And not just saved for the security of heaven someday, but saved to live a new life. A saved person has a new perspective that includes a Christian worldview and God-honoring value system. With that comes a desire to seek the things above—meaning, the truths and values that reflect Jesus. When we are saved, yes, Jesus gives us new life, but even more than that, He IS our new life! The world will try to convince us that we need God PLUS other things to be fulfilled. Don’t believe it. Jesus is everything we need.
