He can do it for you

God didn’t accept Jeremiah’s excuse…and He won’t accept ours, either. Because He knows our excuses aren’t valid. Too often, they’re a means of either chickening out or choosing selfish pursuits (which will never satisfy us the way following Him can). When He gives a purpose, He also bestows what we need to fulfill our God-developed purpose.

I’m an introvert. A first-class introvert. Just being IN crowds overwhelms me. Be in FRONT of a crowd? Um, no thank you! When God called me to speak and share my testimony, I did just what Moses did (yeah, Jeremiah isn’t the only one who said he couldn’t) and told God He should ask somebody else. But He wouldn’t let up, and I finally conceded. I’m still terrified to step in front of a microphone, but I’m able to do it. Not in MY strength. I got nothin’. But I can lean into HIS strength and share the words He’s directed me to share. He truly does give us what we need. And I am so very, very grateful. If He can do it for this scaredy-cat, trust me—He can do it for you.
