Before we receive Jesus, we’re lost in the dark abyss of sin. But when we receive Jesus, we find the Light. We become a child of Light, and sin no longer has a hold on us. Thus, the darkness is gone—gone for all eternity. I once asked that man, “Where will you go when you die?” He couldn’t give me a secure answer, but I know where I’ll go—straight to my Savior, and I will dwell with Him forever and forever.
