We have a choice: confess our sins, repent, and ask Jesus to save us; or don’t. Every sinner who turns to Him in true repentance will receive grace, based on God’s unending compassion. God is compassionate, and God is also just. The popular belief that God won’t send anyone to hell is absolutely true, but not in the way many want to think. God doesn’t send anyone to eternal damnation; we choose our eternity. And when our soul leaves our physical shell, God in his righteous judgment will let us receive what we chose. Are you praying for the lost to turn to Him in repentance? None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. We need to make the best use of today and pray the lost into the kingdom of God.
