Regrets, I’ve had a few… Can I get an amen? There are so many things I wish I could go back and do over. And every single one of them could have been avoided if I’d kept my feet on His pathway. God gave us free will, and sometimes we don’t “will” very wisely. The older I get, though, I hope I do a better job of keeping my feet from evil (sinful, unwise, hurtful to me or others) paths. After years of walking with Him, I know that I experience fewer heartaches and wish-I-could-do-that-overs when I abide by His Word. Older and wiser… We can’t really control getting older, but we have a choice when it comes to being wiser. His Word provides the wisdom I need to avoid the pitfalls of remorse and regret.
