Generations… When God spoke to the children of Israel, He often mentioned the next generations. Passing faith to the next generation is so very important. All it takes is one generation becoming complacent or unbelieving to turn a faithful family/country into a faithless one. God is there for our children and our children’s children and on and on. But He requires something from each of those generations: to look to Him for guidance. The world is noisy and pushy and self-centered. It’s easy to get swept along with it. But just as God, who established the earth, stands firm in His expectations for us, we must stand firm in seeking His favor. Are you praying for the next generations? If not, today is a good day to start. Our children’s children and all the ones to come need Jesus.
