Hope. Anyone who knows me, knows that “hope” is one of my favorite words. Hope—not wishful thinking, but a confident expectancy. In His Word, God made many promises. God keeps His promises. Therefore I can rest in the assurance that He will be with me through all of life’s ups and downs, that He will give me His strength to endure even the hardest trial, that He will take me to be with Him the moment I release my final earthly breath. I can travel this sin-fallen world with full confidence that “this” is not all I get—paradise with my Savior awaits me! My hope is in my relationship with Him.
