Faithful, true, and there for you

Matthew 5:4 says that who mourn are blessed, because they will be comforted. I’ve found this to be true. In times when my heart was so burdened by grief, He made Himself intimately known to me. Scriptures filled with hope (John 14:2, Deuteronomy 31:6, Matthew 28:20b are a few that come to mind) have carried me and comforted me and reassured me in my darkest hours. Grief can wear a person down physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But His Word promises that when we cling to Him, He is faithful to carry us through (Hebrews 10:23). Turn to the Word before any other source of comfort. The One who is Faithful and True is ever there for you.
