Anybody else like trees? My favorite is the willow tree. Its graceful, waving branches invite me to draw near and sit beneath its cooling shelter. I love how trees seem to reach for the heavens, as if striving to touch the face of God. Trees have a music, too–a whispering melody stirred by the wind. Have you ever listened to the lullaby of a tree’s branches stirring, the leaves gently clapping together? It’s a joyous sound, nature’s way of praising God. If the forests sing their praise, shouldn’t we do likewise? For what will you praise God today?
