Openly living for Christ can be something of a minefield. You’ll be accused of being sanctimonious, intolerant, simpleminded, or a host of other unkind titles. But those titles cannot change the fact that Jesus makes a difference in a person’s life. For those of us who’ve been saved by grace, we each have a unique, compelling testimony of what He’s done for us. Even if it means being called names or otherwise mistreated, don’t be silent. Don’t be embarrassed to say, “Yes, I am a Christian.” God will give us the strength we need to stand against opposition and even persecution should it come. People are entitled to their opinions; we are entitled to our Truth. In this world, we will have trouble, but take heart! JESUS has overcome the world. (Side note: Don’t the pansies look like a little choir of angels?)
