Have you ever heard someone bemoan, “I don’t know what to do”? Maybe you’re the one struggling to find your footing. Uncertainty taunts all of us at some point in our lives. There are many who think the Bible was written too long ago to be of use in today’s culture, but those people are incorrect. The Scriptures give us every instruction we need for guidance, encouragement, strength, wisdom, and life choice. The source of our Hope, Jesus, was often called Rabbi—Teacher—and the words He spoke can touch each of us today with the same effectiveness as it did the ones who walked the dusty roads beside Him or sat on a mountainside and listened to Him teach. If you’re lost and floundering today, open His Word. Seek His wisdom and encouragement. Absorb His instruction and follow His example. God’s Word never changes, never fails, and never disappoints. You can trust Him to guide your steps today and every tomorrow.
