Have you ever tried to reason with someone who is stubbornly set on their own way? It’s definitely an exercise in frustration. There are so many people who say, “Sure, I believe there’s a higher power,” but they live totally for self. Others use God’s name as a curse or an exclamation or in sarcasm. These kinds of things hurt my heart, but I cannot imagine how much it pains God. He sent His beloved Son to this earth and watched Him suffer and die for the sins of man, and some of those men treat Jesus’s sacrifice as if it were nothing. Such a glorious Gift He gave… God deserves our gratitude. After what He’s done for us, we should desire to glorify Him in what we say and do. There is much nonsense and darkness in our world; let’s be the light that reflects Jesus and shows others the truth of God.
