God has made Himself known to everyone. We see Him in creation–in the intricacy of a tiny unfurling leaf or a honey bee’s busyness or a rolling storm cloud or a newborn baby’s perfectly formed fingers and toes. He makes Himself known in the unexpected kindness from a stranger or the supernatural strength to endure unimaginable loss or a breath of hope when it seems all hope is gone. God is REAL, and no matter how powerful the man who says otherwise, that man will one day face God’s wrath for denying Him. Those who blatantly speak against Him, who lead others to dismiss Him, are marching a very dangerous path. I shudder to think of standing before a mighty God at the end of a life and realizing it’s now too late. Godless acts on earth will be met with righteous judgment. While we have breath, we need to recognize His presence and, in true repentance, turn away from sin and acknowledge His Son. All who believe will be received. I’ve seen Him. I’ve experienced His presence. Yes, I believe!

Hymn day: “Shepherd of Love”
HYMN DAY! John W. Peterson was a very prolific song-writer, and “Shepherd of Love” is one of my favorites. The words are so encouraging! Our Shepherd is always waiting and willing to welcome us into the fold. (The second verse might be new to you.) Verse 1 Shepherd of love…
Turning back
Have you ever seen a soldier do an about-face? It’s actually very impressive to watch. One deliberate, brisk movement that aims the individual in the opposite direction. This is such a great visual for repentance. When we know we’re going in the wrong direction, repentance turns the tide. It sets…
Faithful promises

A lot of people don’t honor promises, and every time a promise is broken, the relationship suffers. But you know who always keeps His…
