There are many promises in the Bible, and the older I get, the more this one means to me. There is a place reserved for me where my God and Savior reside. Jesus secured my place by going to the cross. So many I love have already gone there, and I know I will be reunited with them when I go. My mom used to teasingly say, “There are no guarantees beyond death and taxes,” but here’s a guarantee that gives us hope: There’s a dwelling place in my Father’s house reserved for those of us who believe.
