Neighbors and friends who’d always had their sight had a hard time believing what they were seeing. They questioned whether this was the same man who’d sat begging every day. But the man kept telling them, “It’s me! It’s me! I can see!” Not only that, he told them why he could see—he told them exactly what Jesus did, he told them he followed Jesus’ instruction, and he told them what he’d gained: his sight.
Jesus says, “Believe in me.” When we receive His invitation, we are changed. We gain our spiritual sight. And then people should see a difference in us. When they do, we need to tell them what brought about the change. Jesus touched me! I’m no longer the same! By faith I received my sight! And then we should ask, “Do you want to see, too? Let me tell you about my Jesus.”
