There’s this funny thing about satan. He believes, since he is the opposite of God, that he is equal to God. Not even close! Oh, he’s wily. He can tempt us and taunt us and torment us…but he cannot destroy us. When we utilize God’s words against him, he has to run and hide. Yes, he trembles at the Name of the Lord! So many people want to eradicate God’s name, but we as believers know that God cannot and will not be moved. We know the power of His Word and the truth of His presence in our lives. When we face opposition, we don’t have to craft our own defense—we can ask the Holy Spirit to speak through us. His words will always prevail.
