If we took a poll, I surmise 100% of those queried would answer “yes” to this question: Have you ever been judged unfairly by someone? Maybe a parent held you accountable for something your sibling did. Maybe a boss misinterpreted something you said and drew incorrect conclusions. Maybe a police officer confused with you someone else and accused you of breaking a law (yes, this happened to me!). Human beings will never be able to judge every situation correctly because we only see what’s in front of us. BUT GOD knows my heart. He knows my intention. He knows how hard I try and how bad I feel when I fail. He is the righteous judge who will search each man’s heart and allow us to experience the consequences of our choices, whether good or bad. I can put my hope in His judgment, because I know He is wise, righteous, and just.
