Have I ever mentioned that I’m a “why?” person? I ponder things late at night, trying to reason them out and find a semblance of sense or meaning. In those troubling times, I seek my Father’s wisdom. Sometimes understanding comes; other times it doesn’t, but I’m left with the peace that HE knows…and that is enough. When God gives us directions (we find His directions in His Word) He has a reason for it. He knows what’s best for us. He knows what will best grow us and mold us into the person He designed us to be. When you’re confused or uncertain about something, it’s all right to question why. God knows what we’re thinking anyway, so nothing we say will take Him by surprise. In those times when you still aren’t sure, continue to obey Him. Respect Him, revere Him, and trust Him. He’ll never lead you astray.
