When my mother was five years old, she heard a preacher at a revival talk about sin and how Jesus would take all a person’s sins away if she asked. She walked to the front of the church and asked. Now she resides eternally with her Savior in heaven, and I cannot imagine how glorious it must be for her. The law couldn’t save us; it could only point out how lost we were. But Jesus paved the way to salvation. Our flesh is weak, but His grace grants mercy. Aren’t you grateful for the gift Jesus gave at Calvary?
