People try to water down the Bible to suit their own needs, but one cannot refute this bold statement by Christ: HE is the only way to reach the Father. Those who say God loves everyone and therefore won’t condemn anyone to a hell are well-meaning, but they’re wrong. It’s true that God loves everyone. It’s true that He desires a relationship with everyone. It’s true that He paved the way for us to know Him and be His children. But going to heaven isn’t a given—it’s a choice made by every person who reaches the age of accountability (of knowing the difference between right and wrong). Unless we believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, unless we ask His forgiveness for the wrongs (sins) we have committed, unless we turn from sin and turn to God with a repentant heart, then we have condemned ourselves. JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life; there is no other way to heaven.
