There’s that word “testify” again, but this time it applies to the disciples themselves. They had spent time with Jesus. They’d witnessed His miracles with their own eyes, heard His incredible teaching with their own ears, and experienced change within their own hearts. With the Holy Spirit’s empowerment, they would share these truths with people they encountered, enabling the message of salvation to spread even in a hostile world. And guess what? The same Holy Spirit that indwelled the disciples indwells believers today, empowering us to live out our faith and testify about Jesus to a lost and needy world.
