Have you ever been falsely accused? We probably all have been at some point in time. I came home from school one day, very upset, because someone had accused me of something I hadn’t done. My mom told me, “If someone speaks ill of you, live in a way that no one would believe it.” Sound advice. Our reputation can speak volumes against false accusation. Jesus stood silent against His accusers, and even Pontius Pilate admitted he could find no charge against Him. Those who want to bring Christians down aren’t averse to immoral tactics. But never fear—truth will prevail. Those of us who are washed in the Blood of the Lamb are God’s elect, and He will work even in those discouraging, hurtful times for our good and His glory. Stand firm!
