As I said yesterday, when we finally see Jesus for who He truly is and ask Him to be our personal Savior and Lord, we change. We become new in our thinking and behaviors—transformed from the inside out. Former attitudes, practices, values, and selfish desires that once guided us go away. We discover a new outlook and approach to life. The writer of 1 and 2 Corinthians certainly changed! He went from a persecutor of Christians to a bold speaker for Christ. (Read about Paul’s transformation in Acts 9 and 22, if you’d like.) Not everyone makes such a dramatic change when they meet Jesus, but everyone who’s saved has a Jesus story that includes life before Jesus, how we came to know Jesus, and life since we met Him. Our story can impact others for His glory. New life in Christ, abundant and free…if we have it, let’s share it so others can know the joy of salvation.
