There’s a whole lot of discontentment around us. Mostly because people try to find their contentment in temporary things or relationships. “Temporary” means it will not last. Even the most quality of purchases eventually breaks, wears out, or can be replaced with a “better” model; humans come and go either by choice or by death. There is only one thing that lasts throughout eternity: a relationship with God through belief in His Son, Jesus Christ. Until we have received Jesus as Savior and live to glorify Him, we cannot know true contentment. Paul learned that no circumstance changed who he was to Jesus or who Jesus was to him, and that is why he could be always be content. Do you feel lost and unsettled? Reach out to Jesus; He’s reaching out to you.
