Psalm 119:11 is probably one of the most recited verses in the Bible. It’s a statement of promise to God, and it’s something every believer should aspire to honor. The more of His Words we have hidden in our heart, the more likely it is we will exercise discernment in moments of need, the more ready we will be to share His truths with others, and the more we will reflect the One who died to free us from sin’s curse. Memorization for the sake of recitation might not do us much good, but if we plant the words deep down in our heart, they will take root and build in us beautiful blooms that point others to Him. What’s the latest scripture you hid in your heart?
