Is anyone else grateful for the LORD’s compassion? No matter how far I stray, how much I “mess up,” how many times I fall flat on my face in failure, He never says, “Well, that’s it. I’m done with her—cut her loose.” In His compassion He recognizes my human frailties. When I err, He does not remove my name from the Lamb’s Book of Life. He chastens in love, He forgives, He teaches me with patience, and He sends me off again with a tender whisper, “Now go and sin no more.” Oh, His compassion is great. Oh, how He loves you and me.
