We do not live in a void. Every single one of us leaves an imprint on the world. Some imprints are “deeper” than others, but none of us lives without creating a testimony. I’m sure we know people who have left this life for eternity and we carry memories of them. Some people bring a smile in our hearts for the joy and positivity they inspired, and some might bring a sigh of regret because their imprint left hurt or bitter feelings behind. None of us lives to himself. As Christians, we have a real responsibility to live in a way that points to the Father. How do we do that? Well, Hebrews 12:2 advises us to keep our eyes on Jesus, who is the source and perfecter of our faith. He gave us the example to follow. If we keep our steps aligned with His, we will certainly leave a positive impact on this world.
